The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) was founded in 1969 to assess student progress and abilities across the country. The NAEP Assessment Administrators (AA) are the ones who conduct the assessments, both digitally and paper-based.

Project Details

Occasions, Inc. was subcontracted to provide the planning and coordination for 250 NAEP AA training sessions in January 2013. These meetings were to include 30-40 attendees each and were held throughout the United States, Guam, Germany, Japan, and Puerto Rico.

How We Supported The Vision

OI’s services included venue and lodging selection, negotiation, and contracting; audiovisual contracting; food and beverage management; budget management; collateral distribution; and final invoice reconciliation.

Despite only having six weeks to plan 250 domestic and international meetings, OI navigated last-minute contract negotiations and retained venues, food and beverage, and lodging in each of the training locations. Throughout the process, OI kept in mind the client’s requirements and budget, and delivered quality trainings across the globe.
